Hampton Roads Dramatic Sports Portrait Photography

Hi, I am Desiray Miquelarena. Local Photographer in the Hampton Roads area and I want to bring awareness to this style of photography in the area. If you're like me and love a bit of a dramatic flare and sports, this is for you! I want the flashy lights and the dramatic smoke that gives the bold touching sense of BIG BAD A**. Growing up I played sports and I know the hours of dedication you put into it, on and off the field/ court/ pool. The sweat, the questionable self doubt, the fire you find to light under your own keister because you are the only one that can show up for you when it comes to that moment. Some times you need that boost of confidence to rock out during your big moment and there is no better way then this session right here!

Milestone storytelling

Parents book them to mark transitions: the first year they realize they're serious about this sport, senior year, college commitment, championships, or "last season". It becomes visual milestones rather than just a photo.

I personally plan my children's sports portraits with specific poses in mind. Their last year I am going to have them recreate it ☺️
